Account information: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name and profile picture.

Content you create: recipes, meal plans, shopping list items, and household membership data.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and error logs, collected to improve the app.

Device information: operating system, browser type, and app version.

2. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the app is used. When you visit this website, we display a cookie consent banner. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies at any time.

Essential cookies are required for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept.

3. How we use your information

To provide and maintain the Food & Family service.

To sync your data across devices and household members.

To power AI features such as recipe generation and suggestions.

To send transactional emails such as invites and password resets.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with infrastructure, AI, and payment providers needed to run Food & Family.

Current providers include Supabase, Vercel, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Stripe, and Google Play.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact hello@foodandfamily.app to exercise these rights.

7. Children's privacy

Food & Family is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date at the top of the privacy page reflects the most recent revision.
